So, what will the Otolaryngology Physician at Terrestris do?

Perform onsite Otolaryngology Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Columbia, South Carolina VA Health Care System VAMC. The physician(s)’ care shall cover the range of Otolaryngology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American Academy of Otolaryngology (AAO)

What does a typical day look like for the Otolaryngology Physician?

In summary, a typical day for an Otolaryngology Physician at the Columbia VA Health Care System will involve a mix of clinical duties (consultations, exams, procedures), patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure veterans receive comprehensive and compassionate care. What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the person we’re looking for if you have:

  • Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia)
  • Certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency
