So, what will the Site Coordinator at Terrestris do?

The Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the activities and performance of contractors and grantees, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and providing real-time reporting on the progress and effectiveness of operations. The Site Coordinator will operate under the direction of senior program management officials and be integral to ensuring that program objectives and U.S. Government interests are met within the security field, specifically within the military, intelligence, and justice sectors.

What does a typical day look like for a Site Coordinator?

The Site Coordinator's day is dynamic. The role involves monitoring and coordinating with contractors and grantees, ensuring compliance with U.S. Government requirements. The coordinator conducts check-ins, addresses any issues, documents progress, and reports to senior management. They also assess risks, attend meetings, and ensure all activities align with U.S. Government objectives, submitting detailed reports at the end of the day.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the person we’re looking for if you have:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Security, Military Science, Criminal Justice, or related disciplines).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the security field, including direct involvement in military, intelligence, or justice sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing, coordinating, or overseeing government contractors or grantees, with a focus on operational effectiveness and compliance.
  • Alternatively, 10 years of combined military and programmatic experience in the security field (as a U.S. Government civilian program management official or contractor/grantee).
  • Or, 25 or more years of military experience and programmatic experience, with demonstrated prior experience operating in conflict and/or post-conflict areas in a military or programmatic capacity (U.S. Government civilian program manager, contractor, or grantee).

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. Government contracting and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments, especially in conflict or post-conflict settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management tools.
  • Familiarity with military and security protocols and regulations.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required by mission objectives.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
