So, what will the Learning Management Systems Project Manager at Terrestris do?

As the Learning Management Systems (LMS) Project Manager, you will provide oversight of the entire implementation of the LMS system and onboarding progress, including account creation and backfill of user learning records. You will coordinate efforts of the team and manages resources while overseeing enduring support of the LMS. Additionally, you will be responsible for vendor compliance with security and privacy requirements.

What does a typical day look like for the Learning Management Systems Project Manager?

You will:·

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the Project Manager we’re looking for if you have:

  • A Master’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field such as Project Management related to Information Technology; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-years of project management (PM) experience with a demonstrated emphasis on managing IT and/or Instructional Design projects and/or programs related to eLearning.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
