So, what will the Technical Advisor at Terrestris do?

The Technical Advisor is responsible for designing, leading, supervising, and advising on one or more specialized disciplines. This role involves providing expert guidance and support at the organizational level, focusing on complex and high-impact projects that require advanced knowledge in a range of areas. The Technical Advisor will oversee critical aspects of operational and strategic initiatives across various domains, including but not limited to Compliance, Disaster/Emergency Management, Training Programs, Financial/Budgeting, Intelligence Operations, Logistics, Military Advisory, Military/Civilian Human Resources, Operations, and Security.

What does a typical day look like for a Technical Advisor?

The Technical Advisor's day is dynamic. The role involves reviewing task order objectives, collaborating with local personnel to address cybersecurity challenges, and providing expert advice on risk mitigation. The advisor mentors technical staff, conducts vulnerability assessments, and delivers briefings to senior officials. The day includes reviewing incident reports, advising on security compliance, and preparing reports and recommendations. The advisor remains flexible, adjusting to evolving needs and preparing for future tasks.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the person we’re looking for if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Political Science, etc.).
  • Proven experience in a senior advisory role, with expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Compliance, Disaster/Emergency Management, Training Programs, Financial/Budgeting, Intelligence Operations, Logistics, Military Advisory, Military/Civilian Human Resources, Operations, and Security.
  • Advanced understanding of organizational structures, technology implementation, environmental policy issues, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in advising senior leadership on high-impact projects, requiring the ability to think strategically and navigate complex issues.
  • Ability to apply advanced technical and operational knowledge to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Strong facilitation, mediation, and conflict-resolution capabilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in government, military, or large-scale multinational organizations.
  • Fluency in multiple languages or cross-cultural communication skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required by mission objectives.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
