The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to ensure smooth office operations. Responsibilities include managing schedules, organizing meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining filing systems. They coordinate office activities, prepare reports, and assist with budgeting and record-keeping. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to support executives and teams efficiently. Administrative Assistants also handle customer inquiries, process documents, and ensure office supplies and equipment are properly maintained, contributing to the overall productivity of the organization.

What does a typical day look like for a Administrative Assistant?

An Administrative Assistant’s Day is dynamic, with a mix of coordinating meetings/ events, evaluating and improving correspondence, managing calendars and resources, travel coordination, as well as conducting end-of-day and safe closure checks.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the person we’re looking for if you have:

  • Proven experience in administrative support, office management
  • Familiarity with office procedures, systems, and tools.
  • Ability to executive administrative tasks with attention to detail.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have dexterity in both hands.
  • Must have 20/20 vision with corrective lenses if necessary.
  • Must have the ability to hear normal conversation, alarm, and warning signals with corrective devices if necessary.
