So, what will the Corporate Operations Support Services Program Manager at Terrestris do?

As the Corporate Support Services Program Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate support services across the NSWC PCD organization. You will ensure that the delivery of administrative, operational, and logistical services to all project employees and teams is efficient, effective, and aligned with NSMC PCD strategic goals and lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and drive initiatives to enhance service quality, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

What does a typical day look like for the Corporate Operations Support Services Program Manager?

You will:

  • Be responsible for the overall performance of all services required for this project.
  • Lead various special programs and projects.
  • Attend meetings at Command level and higher headquarters when required.
  • Prepare decision papers, documents, and reports.
  • Apply expert knowledge of organizational planning, risk management, and program analysis to optimize Corporate Operations Support Services.
  • Perform broad and complex studies and analyses across organizational and functional lines on a variety of projects, issues and problem cases.
  • Provide results to senior technical personnel on a variety of tasks, relevant to plans and objectives.
  • Lead efforts to define and document processes into standard operating procedures or other written procedures for complex and large scope projects.
  • Assure integrated and coordinated short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning on projects and tasks.
  • Initiate, develop, revise, recommend, and implement policies, plans, procedures, and directives
  • Identify existing or potential problem areas within the area of operations and recommend corrective action.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to support or lead stakeholder engagements, briefings, reports, etc.
  • Plan for complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.
  • Lead risk analysis and tracking of cost, schedule, performance of projects/programs.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the support services professional we’re looking for if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a Federal Contractor program management role overseeing a broad range of functions including facilities support and administrative support functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing contract management plans, contract administration, and compliance.
  • Expert knowledge of the planning process and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, team members, and customers to apply problem-solving skills, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks.
  • Demonstrated experience and a strong understanding of program management principles, methodologies, and best practices with a focus on execution, monitoring, and control.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret security clearance.
