So, what will the Industrial Organizational (IO) Psychologist at Terrestris do?

As the Industrial Organizational (IO) Psychologist, you will assist in the development and implementation of a sound approach to training that supports the understanding and evaluation of the employee experience for new Enterprise Operations (EOps) employees. Additionally, you will deliver and execute assessments, meetings and interviews, dashboard reporting and supporting documentation for an employee-centric developmental strategy and framework, that supports both career and personal development.

What does a typical day look like for the Industrial Organizational (IO) Psychologist?

You will:

  • Conduct interviews with select leaders from the EOps Organization, to refine their understanding of the current state, as well as the desired future state for the program. Results and findings from these sessions should be leveraged for the development of the customized employee experience survey.
  • Conduct working sessions with EOps Project Team to discuss the latest information and research around employees, skills, leadership, and change.
  • Provide research, web usage or recommendations, analytics, and other unknown inquiries in a monthly status to the COR and Program Manager (PM) POC.
  • Develop the necessary programmatic documentation to support IRS and EOps document review and approval process for the newly established program. Key documents to be developed include:
    • Evaluation Summary of Existing IRS/IT ED Programs and Tools.
    • Employee Experience Survey Questionnaire.
    • Survey Results and Findings Report Template.
    • Individualized Skills-Mapping Template.
    • Career Development Plan Template.
    • Recommended Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Reporting Template.
    • Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Provide the expertise, knowledge and support required to execute the activities supporting the personal and professional development endeavors for approximately 2300 new hires Key activities that require execution support include:
    • Administer Customized Employee Experience Surveys.
    • Analyze Survey Results.
    • Report Survey Results Findings.
    • Develop Individualized Skills-Mapping Reports.
    • Perform Follow-up Employee/Manager Discussions.
    • Finalize Individual CDP (Career Development Plan).
    • Generate and distribute ED KPI Dashboard Reporting.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the Industrial Organizational (IO) Psychologist we’re looking for if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Psychology related field, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other content creation software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship.
