So, what will the Knowledge Management Resource Terrestris do?

As the Knowledge Management Resource, you will lead the development and implementation of best practices related to knowledge management techniques, web-based applications, and collaborative tools. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Power Apps, and Power BI. This role requires the ability to assume a leadership position, develop standards and processes, and effectively enhance organizational collaboration and knowledge-sharing practices.

What does a typical day look like for the Knowledge Management Resource?

You will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of standards and best practices surrounding knowledge management and collaboration techniques.
  • Manage and administer SharePoint sites, including content management, permissions, and workflow automation.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting tools utilizing MS Power BI.
  • Design, build, and implement custom solutions using MS Power Apps to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to assess knowledge management needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Assist in the development, management, and maintenance of internal and external websites to facilitate information sharing.
  • Provide technical training and support to staff on the effective use of SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, and other knowledge management tools.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams and departments.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:

  • The authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • An active Top-Secret (TS) Clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Knowledge Management, information systems, or related fields.
  • Strong working knowledge and proven expertise in SharePoint administration and configuration.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing custom applications in MS Power Apps.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Experience in website development and maintenance supporting knowledge management functions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage projects, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Capable of working independently and leading project teams effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing organizational priorities and technical environments.
