We are seeking a Program Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center’s (NAC) Commodities and Services Acquisition Service (CSAS) for the Denver Logistic Services (DLS) located in Golden, CO.

So, what will the Program Manager at Terrestris do?

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for all reporting, administrative, and HR actions to include but not limited to resume review, hiring actions, disciplinary actions, reporting, direct communication and reporting between vendors and the VA warehouse site and assist VA in the execution of targeted program goals.

What does a typical day look like for the Program Manager?

You will:

  • Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, and action plans that meet the DLS standards for productivity, quality assurance and customer service.
  • Meet regularly with government supervisory warehouse team(s) to analyze productivity, including quality assurance, inventory control, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, receiving and order fulfillment.
  • Work with government personnel to adjust staffing levels and/or work procedures to accommodate resources allocated to operate warehouse operations.
  • Maintain current and accurate files and records and prepare periodic and special reports.
  • Validate all work performed by signing off on production summary documents.
  • Be responsible to ensure that all staff are up to date and compliant with all necessary and required VA Trainings as well as required certifications for operating warehouse equipment.
  • Provide a summary of duties performed/accomplishments for each employee by close of business to the CO, the last duty day of each week. The report shall detail the number of orders and items shipped by warehouse.
  • Specify the orders and items shipped by commodity and type of order, completed in excel spreadsheet. The numbers will be available from our VistA program.
  • Remain on site while the effort is being performed.
  • Have full authority to act on all matters relating to the daily requirements to include coordinating with the customer POC in performing work on individual, managing, and assigning work to contract employees; and managing contractor’s employee leave, schedules, timecards, etc.
  • Comply with government policies and legal guidelines, and help to maintain a safe, orderly work environment and meet performance standards for production and quality assurance.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency including planning, initiating, managing, executing and closing out programs in support of an integrated supply chain distribution system.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain operations and receipt of goods, storage, order fulfillment and distribution/shipping.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in:
    • The use of inventory software and systems.
    • Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Excel.
    • Microsoft Office 2010 or later.
    • Data entry.
    • Typing.
